Chapters and those colonies opened more than two years ago are required to send at least two (2) delegates and colonies less than two years old are required to send at least one (1) delegate.
Chapters or colonies interested in sending more than the required number of delegates may do so for a reduced fee. See more on pricing details. View the conference schedule.
About the Convention
The National Convention and Leadership School is the premier event of Zeta Beta Tau, bringing together hundreds of undergraduates and alumni in a true celebration of Brotherhood.
In addition to the National Convention where undergraduates will vote to elect our new National officers and 2010-2011 operating budget, all undergraduates and alumni will enjoy a diverse range of educational and leadership programming.
Some highlights for the 2010 National Convention and Leadership School include:
- The new brotherhood experience, “The Journey”
- The Strategic Plan that will take ZBT through our 118th Anniversary
- Nationally-known speakers and top-notch programming
- The Grand Awards Banquet
- And much more!
The brothers attending network with brothers from all over North America and not only make contacts but learn from each other as well.
The National staff and a team of faculty consisting of alumni and outside experts facilitate the National Convention and Leadership School to help attendees learn about running a fraternity, working through and addressing problems, and leading others, among other topics.
Those individuals attending should be the president and recruitment chairman along with any other chapter leaders or future chapter leaders.
Hotel room costs are covered by the National Fraternity for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night for the required number of delegates (two per room). Additional delegates may stay at the host hotel for the discounted rate of $139 per night (up to 4 in a room).
